I trained in North Thames London Deanery and I am a Consultant General and Lead Colorectal Surgeon at The Mid Cheshire Foundation Hospital Trust.  I am the Chair of Enhance Recovery Programme in Surgery (ERAS).  I also run a very busy NHS clinical practice for both elective and emergency cases in Cheshire and have a special interest in key-hole surgery for benign and malignant colorectal disease. I also specialises in laparoscopic hernia repair surgery and surgery for gall bladder stones.    I am an expert in minimal invasive surgery for haemorrhoids (HALO procedure and THD procedure, PPH.  I play and active part in teaching and training of surgical trainees and I am the educational supervisor of trainees in surgery at Leighton hospital in Cheshire.
